Verified against the NVD record for CVE-2026-76455 (Cisco PSIRT CNA, published 2026-10-07 17:16 UTC), the CVE.org record (PUBLISHED 2026-10-07 16:15 UTC), and Cisco advisory cisco-sa-hardening-nxosw1-cWzSbtR (first published 2026-10-07 16:00 GMT): NX-OS internal security review hardening release, CWE-284 improper access control, CVSS 3.1 9.8 CRITICAL AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H, 'Cisco has released software updates', no workarounds, not known exploited. The earlier hold was a false positive: the THE-207 cve-record check read the headline word 'Releases' as a product name. Separate CVE and flaw from CVE-2026-76465 (MPLS OAM, CWE-590, cisco-sa-moam-rce-uBTzYV7).
