The first announcement concerns the next numbered game in the series. Dragon Quest 12 is now officially known as DRAGON QUEST XII: Beyond Dreams. The title was previously DRAGON QUEST XII: The Flames of Fate. Development has restarted under a new structure with a reshuffled team after hitting "a lot of hurdles" in the past.

A completely refreshed logo was revealed for the game. The showcase included in-development gameplay footage. Messages from game designer Yuji Horii and executive producer Yosuke Saito were released alongside the update.

The second announcement unveiled a brand-new game called DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World. It is coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S along with Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and Windows. The release is set for some point in the near future.
