Space Launch Delta 30, which provides range support at Vandenberg, said on X: "This marks a record-tying 71st launch for the calendar year and advances critical U.S. space objectives." In its own article, the unit said the mission was "the 71st launch supported from Vandenberg in 2026." Neither post says which record it ties. USA Today Network reporting in January, citing an SLD 30 spokesperson, said Vandenberg ended 2025 with 71 launches, 64 of them SpaceX-led. That figure counts every launch the base supported, not only SpaceX flights.

SpaceX said booster B1063 flew for the 36th time and landed on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean. Space.com reported the same details.

SpaceX lists the next Vandenberg launch, Starlink 15-16, as targeting Monday, Oct. 26, at 9:45 p.m. PDT (04:45 UTC Oct. 27, 12:45 a.m. AST). That is a target, not a confirmed time. SLD 30 has not given a date, and Spaceflight Now's schedule shows Starlink 15-15 was scrubbed on Oct. 20, 21 and 22 before it flew.
