The Nintendo Direct confirmed Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave will release on September 17 for Nintendo Switch 2. The prequel to Three Houses brings four new protagonists, tactical combat, and story ties to the Fodlan universe that fans have waited three years to revisit.

Unlike the previous two entries, Fortune's Weave features four playable main characters: Cai, Theodora, Dietrich, and Leda.
