Meta's $249 Adventurer, announced at Connect on Sept. 23, went on sale Oct. 23. It is Meta's cheapest camera glasses and keeps the 12MP camera, 3K video, open-ear audio and Meta AI, but swaps the ~40-hour battery charging case for a plug-in case. On the Oct. 21 earnings call, Zuckerberg said Meta priced its devices "not to make a large profit on the hardware", and that Muse is coming to Meta Glasses "starting next month".

DoorDash and Instacart parent Maplebear announced a definitive agreement under which DoorDash will acquire Instacart for $65 per share, an equity value of about $17 billion.
Intel shares fell 14% in after-hours trading on Oct. 29, per Reuters, with later reports putting the drop at about 17% to more than 20%, after the company guided fourth-quarter revenue below estimates. CFO David Zinsner told Reuters an October explosion at its Kiryat Gat, Israel fab will cut about $600 million of revenue over two quarters.
