Shrek 2 Remastered revives the 2004 co-op game. Developer Aspyr rebuilt the Activision title with better textures, an enhanced UI, and 4K resolution and cutscenes, according to the game's Xbox Store listing. New features include a Photo Mode and a Cheat Mode. Players can control Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Gingy and other characters from the DreamWorks film.

The original game launched in 2004 on GameCube, PlayStation 2, PC and the first Xbox. The remaster keeps solo play and co-op for up to four players.
