An earlier pull quote said AI had enabled "multiple Roblox copies of incremental games within hours of their original release." PC Gamer reported at least seven Roblox clones of Escape the Walls by Oct. 19, after its creator posted footage on Oct. 10; it did not report clones appearing within hours. The pull quote has been removed.

PC Gamer links a wave of clones to AI coding tools. The outlet attributed a recent surge of quick clones and mash-ups largely to Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 update. It counted at least seven Roblox clones of the incremental game Escape the Walls.

A studio cancelled its planned Steam demo. Alliance Arts Inc. said it will no longer publish a demo for Drunken Goddess Reflux on Steam as planned, citing concern that AI or other tools could be used to quickly imitate the game. It will hold closed play sessions instead.
